Waste water pumps are pumps that can pump water containing solids. They are available in many different versions. They can be made of cast iron, stainless steel or plastic.
Waste water pumps are suitable for:
- Slightly contaminated water (solids up to 10 mm)
- Dirty water (solids up to 50 mm)
- Black water/feces (water with feces)
When buying a waste water pump, it is important to pay attention to the flow rate. This indicates how many liters the pump can deliver per hour. The stationary submersible pump is controlled via the attached float/sensor or via an external pump controller. The level can be recorded and measured with various accessories. While clear water pumps are suitable for use in pools, swimming pools, basins, cisterns and wells, dirty water submersible pumps can pump heavily contaminated water with grain sizes of up to 25 mm.
