A bottle cellar is an important part of the beer production process in a brewery. Beers are bottled there and stored under optimum conditions to guarantee maximum quality.
In a bottle cellar there are machines for filling, labeling, packaging and cleaning the bottles:
- Filling machine: This machine fills the beer into the bottles and ensures that the bottles are filled evenly and that the beer does not overflow.
- Labeling machine: This machine applies labels to the front and back of the bottle and ensures that the labels stick straight.
- Packaging machine: This machine packs the labeled bottles into cartons or crates to facilitate transport.
- Cleaning machine: This machine is used to clean bottles that are intended for reuse. If bottles are stored in a cellar, they can accumulate dirt, dust and other impurities. A cleaning machine can be used to remove these impurities so that bottles can be used again.
It is important that the machines in the bottle cellar are properly maintained in order to guarantee smooth production and high beer quality. As a rule, maintenance includes regular inspections and occasional repairs.
